Gloria A. (Conti) Lupino

July 24, 1926 — January 31, 2022

Gloria A. (Conti) Lupino

95, formerly of Johnston and Cranston, passed on Monday, January 31, 2022. She was the wife of the late Rocco J. Lupino; daughter of the late Antonio and Lucia (Carnevale) Conti. Her survivors are sons William Lupino of Wakefield, Paul Lupino of Providence, and former Cranston City Council President Anthony Lupino and his wife Marie of Narragansett. She also leaves her grandson Adam Lupino and great grandson Graeme of Cranston. She became the caregiver of her now deceased siblings after her mother passed at an early age. Brothers Phillip, Raymond and Edward; sisters Gilda Napolitano and Dianne Conti predeceased her.

Her passions were her family, cooking, music, and her religion. Love for her family and mankind in general was packed into her tiny frame. Prior to his passing, she and Rocco were ardent supporters of those in need through their volunteer efforts with St. Vincent dePaul Society and various support groups serving the downtrodden in RI; always delivering food, clothing and a warming smile. The family wishes to thank the loving support she has received from the caring staff of Kent Regency/Genesis for the past 12 plus years and Beacon Hospice. These caregivers are truly remarkable.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, Providence.  Interment at RI Veterans Cemetery will be private. Donations in her memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
