78, of Greenwich Ave., Warwick, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Cranston. She was the wife of William Clavin. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Gaetano and Amelia (Ferringo) Calvino. Mrs. Clavin was employed by the City of Cranston and was one of the first crossing guards hired at the inception of the program. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Alfred M. D'Andrea III and his wife Janet of Cranston, Thomas S. D'Andrea of Cranston and Deborah Petrella of Narragansett. She was the mother-in-law of the late Donna D'Andrea and James Petrella. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Danielle, James, Alfred IV and Nicole and great granddaughter Gianna. She was the sister of Anna Salvatore of Warwick and the late Concetta Suvajian. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, VISITING HOURS THURSDAY MORNING 9:30am to 11am. Interment will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
