Giustina C. Fabrizi, born June 24, 1949, in the picturesque town of Ponte Corvo, Frosinone, Italy, passed away peacefully at her home on September 11, 2024. She was a woman of remarkable talent and unyielding strength, whose vibrant spirit captivated all who had the privilege of knowing her.
An accomplished hair stylist and astute businesswoman, Giustina owned and operated two flourishing salons that stood as testaments to her creativity and dedication. Her career was not merely a means of livelihood; it was an expression of her artistry and vision, deeply intertwined with her passion for beauty and self-expression.
Giustina was a steadfast wife to her beloved husband, Luigi Fabrizi, bringing warmth and joy to their home. Together, they nurtured an environment rich in love and encouragement, fostering dreams and ambitions in their family. As an admired mother, she instilled courage and resilience in her children, Ezio M. Fabrizi and Massimo G. Fabrizi, always urging them to relentlessly chase their aspirations.She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Sarah E. Fabrizi and a doting grandmother to Sofia A. Fabrizi, Gianna E. Fabrizi, Ezio R. Fabrizi, and Luca M. Fabrizi.
To her family, she embodied the type of mother and grandmother who inspired them not to fear their dreams, but to pursue them with abandon and zeal.Known for her vibrant personality, Giustina's life was infused with artistic passion, whether it manifested in her stunning artwork, her powerful performances on stage, or her musical endeavors with her band. She shone brightly at every performance, commanding the stage with an effortless grace that left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to witness her talents unfold. Her artistic pursuits were not mere hobbies; they were a testament to her zest for life and her unwavering spirit of adventure.
A high school graduate, Giustina’s pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement continued throughout her life, always seeking new challenges and experiences. Her legacy is one of inspiration—her strength and talent known to all who encountered her.She leaves behind her loving husband, Luigi, their sons Ezio and Massimo, daughter-in-law Sarah, and treasured grandchildren. Also surviving are her beloved sisters, Thomasina "Cerro" Abbondanza, Rosa "Cerro" Pagliarini, her brother, Tommaso Cerro, and sister-in-law Donna Cerro.Giustina is predeceased by her parents, Giovanni B. Cerro and Anna F. Cerro, as well as her brothers-in-law Giovanni Abbondanza and Frank Pagliarini.
A Mass celebrating the life and legacy of Giustina C. Fabrizi will be held at St. Bartholomew Church, located at 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence, RI, on September 18, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM. Her burial will be respectfully private. All are welcome to join in honoring this extraordinary woman whose life was a vibrant canvas of love, ambition, and unrelenting passion.
