GIUSEPPE G. "JOE" SUSIN

97, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria (Furlin) Susin. Born in Fonzaso, Italy he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Susanna (Pasa) Susin. He was a WW-11 Army veteran of the Italian Army and was a POW during WW-11 and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was also a member of the St. Rocco's Holy Name Society.

He was a custodian for St. Rocco's Church and School for over 30 years, before his retirement.

He was the beloved father of Susanna Parsons, Rosamary Susin , and Joanna Susin all of Cranston and Angelo Susin of North Caldwell, New Jersey; loving grandfather of five and loving great-grandfather of one.

He was the dear brother of the late Antonietta Sebben, Maria Corso, Olivia Susin, Sr. Giuseppina Susin, Angelina Susin, Rev. Angelo Susin former Pastor of St. Rocco's Church and Antonio Susin.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday from 4 pm - 7 pm.
