GIOVANNI "JOHN" CARBONE
Giovanni "John " Carbone, 73, of Barrier Isle Dr., Ormond Beach, FL. passed away Friday January 23, 2009 at home. Born in Roccoromona, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Eleonora (Montanaro) Carbone.
John was a foreman for the former Carlson Corporation.
He is survived by his two daughters; Doreen Gervelis of Cranston, and Joanne Carbone of North Providence, his granddaughter Alexandria Gervelis and sadly missed by Shirley Carbone. He was the brother of Luigi, Giuseppe, Alfonso, Antonio and Pietro Carbone, Philomena Perrotti, Orsola Vessella, Letizia D'Andreti, Maria Decanutti and the late Carmine "Mike" Carbone and Guido Carbone.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church Cranston at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 p.m.
