Gino E. DeSimone

46, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. Gino was the beloved husband Alicia (Achille) DeSimone. Born in Providence he was the son of Enea DeSimone Sr., and his wife Mary of Coventry, his mother Rita Mangilli of Warwick, and his mother-in-law Arlene Gianfrocco and her husband Gene of Johnston. Mr. DeSimone was self-employed running his own business, Gino DeSimone Floor Covering for many years.

Gino is also survived by his loving daughter Maria DeSimone of Johnston. He was the brother of Enea DeSimone Jr., of Cranston, and the stepbrother of Ken Rinaldi and his wife Barbara of Cranston, and Gina Nicholson and her husband John of North Scituate.

Gino loved his sports cars and trucks. He had a generous heart, who loved helping people in need. As well as many people who loved him. He loved his pets Tucker, Latte, and Magoo.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 8, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St, Mary Church, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 5:00-8:00 p.m. Burial is respectfully omitted.
