GILDA (DeDCRISTOFORO) 'Jill' MISISCHIA

88, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Herbert Misischia. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Angelina (Casali) DeCristoforo.

Gilda was a bookkeeper at and then owner of the former Herb's Auto Supply in Olneyville Square, Providence for many years before her retirement.

She was the mother of Dorothy "Dotty" Misischia Calabrese of Mountain View, CA and sister of the late Armando DeCristoforo, Marcel "Eddy" DeCristoforo, Guido DeCristoforo, Ida Muto and Adele Muto.

VISITING HOURS ARE TODAY, SATURDAY FROM 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston.

Burial will be private.
