Gilda H. (Lautieri) Martinelli

92, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Americo Martinelli. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Clorinda (Luminello) Lautieri.

Mrs. Martinelli was a seamstress and worked in the jewelry industry before retiring; and a member of Kelley-Gazzerro VFW Post #2812 Women's Auxiliary in Cranston.

She was the devoted mother of Ron Martinelli and his wife Joyce, Richard R. Martinelli and Janice M. Martinelli-Ariosto, all of Cranston; loving grandmother of Melissa and Michael Martinelli; and dear sister of Gloria Franklin of West Warwick. She was predeceased by seven siblings

Funeral from the NARDOLILO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday, February 9th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 931 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
