GILDA (LANCIA) MARANO

86, of Cranston, passed away on Monday October 10, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Marano. They were married 59 years. Gilda was born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Virginia (DiOrio) Lancia. Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving daughters, Cheryl Marano, Joanne Coletta and her husband Charlie all of Cranston. She was also the cherished grandmother of Michael, Matthew and Nicole Coletta and was the sister of Frank Lancia of Fall River, MA. Gilda was also the sister of the late Helen Leo, Jerome, Joseph, Pasquale and Victor Lancia. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-7 pm.
