Gilda B. Kesack

87, of Cranston, passed away on November, 18, 2024. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Brigida (Cipriano) Pisaniello.

She was the loving mother of Alan Kesack and his wife Catherine, Robert Kesack and his wife Celina, Cheryl Steele and her husband Howard, and the late Daniel Kesack; cherished grandmother of Jennifer Farias, Daniel Kesack, Lauren Rosa, Patrick Kesack, Robert Kesack, and great grandmother of Michael Farias, McKenzie Farias, Lucas Kesack, Elliott Kesack, Josephine Kesack, Cameron Rosa, Miles Rosa. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Michael, Frank, Pat, Thomas, and Vincent Pisanelli, Rafiela Balasco, Rose Lepre, Madelline Ianiero, and Theresa Howe.

First and foremost she loved family above all. She was one of 13 children and was the person that they all wanted to be around. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren passionately and was so proud of each and every one of them. She loved to cook, and was happiest when she had her family all around her for wonderful dinners that she had lovingly prepared. No matter how many people showed up at her home for a meal, she always had plenty of delicious food to serve, and would send them home with more! She was always a hard worker, and was an owner and operator of several businesses including some local restaurants in the Providence area. She was an avid Red Sox fan; she loved watching all the classic movies and knew them all well.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 25th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, West Warwick. Inurnment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
