GILBERT B. GILES, SR

77, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday December 12, 2010 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Cora E. (Shepard) Giles. Gilbert was born in Providence, the son of the late Harold and Ruth (Green) Giles. Mr. Giles was a self-employed contractor and a US Navy Korean War veteran. He is survived by his loving children, Lizabeth F. Giles-Bowe and her husband James of FL and Gilbert B. Giles, Jr and his wife Valerie of Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of Christopher and Caleb, and also the brother of Marion Marshall of Riverside, Betty McClentic of Warwick and the late Robert Giles. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday at 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
