Gia-Marie Vacca

42, of NY, NY, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Born in Warwick, she was the loving daughter of Mary-Jo (Barth) Vacca of Cranston and the late George Vacca. Gia-Marie was the cherished sister of Joseph Vacca of Cranston. She was the niece of Joseph, Henry, Fredrick and his wife Allyson, Peter and his wife Torie Barth. Gia-Marie also leaves behind her cousins, Adrian, Joel and Amy, Adam, Lucas, Noah, Tyler and Jarred Barth; Godmother of Gianna Morant. She was also predeceased by her paternal grandparents Joseph and Florence Vacca, maternal grandparents Henry Sr., and Catherine Barth and her paternal Uncle Joseph Vacca.

Gia-Marie graduated from Cranston High School West in 1996, then graduated from Scared Heart University, Fairfield, CT in 2000. She worked in promotions in CT, NY and FL. She was a partner and CIO for Far From Boring. Gia-Marie was active in organizations for women in business, women owned businesses, and mentoring women entrepreneurs.

With limiting seating due to COVID-19, her services will be held on Monday, December 28th, at 10:00a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Her visiting hours and burial are respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1615 L Street NW, Suite 430, Washington, DC 20036 or to the Calvary Hospice, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461.
