GERTRUDE E. (PENNINE) SCIOLTO

93, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Sciolto, happily married for seventy-one years.

She was the loving, dedicated mother of Nancy Thompson, Donna Ahearn and her husband John, Anthony R. Sciolto and his wife Nikki, and Elizabeth Di Raimo and her husband Kenneth. Gertrude was the devoted grandmother of David Ahearn, Toni Morrissey, Kristen McLoughlin, Anthony Thompson, Hayley Marciano, Skye Pechie, and Stacy DiRaimo. She was the great-grandmother of Ellie and Grady Morrissey, Sienna McLoughlin, and Natalia Marciano. Gertrude is also survived by four sisters and three brothers, Glenna Carine, Gloria Franklin, Sylvia Franklin, Charlotte L'Heureux, Joseph, Richard, and Carl Rossi, and the late Florine Foley.
