GERTRUDE J. BAILEY

85, of Johnston, formerly of Marvin Gardens and St. Joseph Living Center in Providence, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. Born in Cranston, she was the loving daughter of the late Aurin and Alice (Furit) Bailey.

Gertrude was a jewelry inspector at the former Anson Jewelry Co. in Providence for 19 years retiring in 1985.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, 538 Broadway, Providence followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
