GERALD RAGOSTA

Gerald Ragosta 78, of Jordan Ave. Cranston passed away Tuesday October 7, 2008 at the VA Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of Claire (Lanni) Ragosta. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Paride and Anne (D'Arezzo) Ragosta. Mr. Ragosta was the owner of the former A & J Fruit and Produce Co. of Providence until his retirement. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Lori Ragosta, Gerald Ragosta and his wife Susan and his grandson Gerald Ragosta Jr. all of Cranston, he was the brother of the late Rose Ruotolo, Elizabeth Patriarca, Helen Masarone, Mary Longo, Angelo and Joseph Ragosta. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5-8 pm.
