66, of Cranston, formerly of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at home. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (Clark) Smith. Georgia was an administrative secretary for St. Joseph's Health Services of Rhode Island for twenty-three years before retiring in 1999. She was an honored and accomplished woman in the Cambridge Who's Who among executive and professional women. Georgia was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels Program of Rhode Island. She is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Valerie Monteiro and Joseph Malaga, Jr. and the sister of the late Arthur Smith. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private.
