George A Pitts

83, of Cranston, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harold and Margarette (Allen) Pitts. George was a sheet metal worker (HVAC) for many years until retiring.

George is survived by his loving daughter Tracey Gowdey and her husband Herb of Johnston, his youngest daughter Jaclyn Lalita of CA, his daughter Cheryl Pitts of Warwick, his son Steven Pepper and his wife Diane of Hopkinton, and his dear friend and neighbor Kenny Watkins.  He was predeceased by his son George and his brother Harold Pitts and leaves behind one brother Bobby Pitts.

George was beloved by his family and friends for his warmth, quick wit and ever-uplifting cheer.  He had a special way of making people feel good, laugh and truly enjoy life's simple pleasures.  His humor and huge heart will be dearly missed.

His funeral services are respectfully omitted.
