George C. Medberry

69, of Warwick, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 27, 2022. George was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Suggs) Medberry and the late Cheryl (Northcup) Medberry. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George C. Medberry Sr., and the late Grace (Yattaw) Medberry.

George was the brother of David Medberry and his wife Barbara, Paul Medberry and his wife Maryann, Mary Medberry, and April Gauthier and her husband Jeff. He was also predeceased by his son Steven Medberry, as well as his two sisters Susan Meyers, Martha Freitas and his brother Joseph Medberry.

Mr. Medberry was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. George spent over 9 years in the Army becoming a Motor Sergeant, and a List Wheel Vehicle/Power Generation Mechanic before retiring.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Committal Service on Friday, November 4th, at 11:00 a.m. in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours a respectfully omitted. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 10th, at 11:00 a.m. at New Colony Baptist Church in Billerica, MA.
