GEORGE A. GRECO

82, of Woodbine Street Cranston passed away on Tuesday February 2, 2010 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Concetta (Norato) Greco for the past fifty seven years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gelormo and Filomena (Coletta) Greco. George was a WW-II and Korean War Veteran. He was a meat cutter for the former Almac's and Stop & Shop for many years, before his retirement and also worked as a cook for the former Smith's Resturant in Providence. Besides his wife he was the loving father of Scott Greco of Cranston and Keith Greco of Florida; and cherished grandfather of Natasha and Daniel Greco. He was the brother of the late Louis Lanza and Armando Greco. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
