GEORGE E. FOGELL, JR
72, of West Warwick, passed away on Friday May 14, 2010 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Magnone) Fogell. George was born in Providence, a son of the late George E. Fogell, Sr. and Mary (Sullivan) Fogell. Mr. Fogell was a Retired Providence Fire Fighter for 22 years, until his retirement in 1987. He was a US Army veteran, and also served in the US Marine Corps reserves.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Vicky Darcy of MA, Susan McGinn of Richmond, John Fogell of Cranston and Gregory Fogell of West Warwick. George was also the brother of Shirley Spencer of FL, Linda Kozack of Richmond, and was the cherished grandfather of 8, and was the uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Daniel Fogell.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Matthews Church, Elmwood Ave. Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8 pm.
