GEORGE A. DODGE, JR
GEORGE A. DODGE, JR., 73, of Griswold Ave., Cranston, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Lillian A. (Dowding) Dodge.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George A. and Margaret (Maguire) Dodge, Sr.
George was a machinist at Hindley Manufacturing Company in Cumberland before retiring. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and an avid Boston Red Sox and N.E. Patriots fan.
Besides his wife, he was the dear brother of Joan Bassett and the late Paul Dodge; loving step-father of Lynne S. Miranda, John W. Fredericks, Steven J. Fredericks, Thomas M. Fredericks and Kristen E. Dexter; loving grandfather of eleven and loving great-grandfather of one.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Saturday at 4 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston and may call Saturday afternoon from 2-4 p.m.
