George DerManouelian

George DerManouelian, 52 of North Providence, passed away Tuesday August 30, 2022, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Paula (Makkonen) DerManouelian.

George had a charming old soul that put one at ease immediately. With an incredible sense of humor and sharp wit, he was the best company and a joy to be with. He cherished his family and was a stalwart friend to many.  His passion for fashion was a lifelong pursuit, especially Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

He leaves his beloved sister Lisa Underhill of Cranston, niece Sadie Underhill of Philadelphia, PA, uncle Raiku Makkonen of Central Falls, aunt Asta Thorn of Pompano Beach, FL, “Auntie” Karen Joovelegian of West Greenwich, and numerous aunts and uncles in Finland. He will be deeply missed by his many loving cousins, dear friends, and longtime colleagues at AAA.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022, at 10:30 AM at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Visting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
