GENA C. (PAZIENZA) RICCI

90, of Cranston, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl P. Ricci. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Giuseppina (Natalizia) Pazienza. Mrs. Ricci was the owner of the former Rich Floor Covering Company of Johnston for thirty years until her retirement in 1985. She also was employed at Our Lady of Grace Church in Johnston and Holy Cross Church, Providence. She is survived by her loving children, Anne M. Paolo and her husband Alfred of Cranston and Thomas C. Ricci of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Anthony, David and Christopher Paolo, Gina Barrett, Marisa Parris, Carl Ricci, and the devoted great-grandmother of nine. Gena was the sister of Mary Battista of Cranston, Anna Passarelli of North Providence and the late Angelo Pazienza and Gloria Gasper. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
