Gail M. (Trudel) Ciresi

Beloved mother, grandmother, educator, and nurse, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Gail was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude (“Trudy”) Trudel. She was the devoted wife of the late Philip Ciresi and a loving mother to Cristen (Marshall/“Tripp”) Raucci, Matthew (Deirdre) Ciresi, Kathryn (Clayton) Plumer, and Michael Ciresi. She also leaves behind her brothers Ronald Trudel and his wife Susan, Kenneth Trudel and his wife Carol, and Glen Trudel and his wife Leeanne, as well as her much-loved nieces and nephews.

A proud and loving "Grammie," Gail’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren: Victoria Raucci, Matthew Ciresi, Thomas Ciresi, Olivia Ciresi, Raegan Plumer, and Greyson Plumer. Her love for them was boundless, and she took immense pride in being part of their milestones and achievements.

Gail dedicated her life to education and healthcare. For over 35 years, she shaped young minds as a teacher in the Cranston Public School system and, for over two decades, as a postpartum nurse at Women & Infants Hospital. Even after retiring, her passion for teaching never waned—she continued to volunteer in schools, where students affectionately knew her as "Grammie Gail." Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support touched the lives of countless students, colleagues, and new mothers. She took great joy in giving the first baths to her grandchildren and the children of her friends, a testament to the love and care she extended to all.

A passionate traveler, Gail embraced every opportunity to explore the world with family and friends, creating cherished memories along the way. But no matter where she went, her heart was always with her family.

Gail will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and steadfast love for those around her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed.
