57, of Juniper Drive, North Kingstown, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of 34 years to Steven Sullivan. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Gloria (Tirocchi) D'Ambra of Saunderstown and the late Vito D'Ambra. Cherished mother of Shannon Sullivan of Brookline, MA and Patrick Sullivan of North Kingstown. Loving sister of Julie Shea of Westwood, MA and Gary D'Ambra of Barrington. Gail was a teacher for the RI School for the Deaf for 30 years. She was a graduate of Barrington High School class of 1973. Gail received her bachelor's degree from Springfield College in 1977 and later earned a master's degree from the University of Rhode Island. An avid tennis player, she was the former coach of the Providence College women's team. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt. 1A) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard's Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown at 10:00am.
