Gaetano G. Gemma

88 of North Kingstown, RI and Delray Beach, FL (formerly of Suffield, CT) passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Warwick, RI. He was the beloved husband for nearly 50 years of Patricia (Day) Gemma. He was born on September 19, 1931 in Providence, RI to the late Rocco and Mary Gemma.

Guy enjoyed a successful career as Accounts Rep and Regional Manager with Frito-Lay Inc. He had a passion for golf and a love of music, especially Frankie Laine and jazz from the Big Band Era, but his greatest joy beyond all else was his family and friends.

He is survived by his son Glenn Gemma and his wife Deborah of Mashpee, MA; his granddaughter Jeannine Cleaver and her husband Nathan of Delray Beach, FL; his siblings Raymond and Marguerite Gemma of Cranston, Mariann McCourt of Narragansett, and Bernard and Michelle Gemma of Peoria, AZ; and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia and brother in-law, Richard McCourt .

Guy’s funeral procession will be held on Saturday at 9:45 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, located at 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Francis de Sales Church, North Kingstown, RI. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston, RI. VISITING HOURS: Friday 5-8. pm.
