GAETANO "GUY" DiRAFFAELE

89, formerly of Johnston, passed away Tuesday at Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center in Providence. He was the devoted husband of Filomena (Tagliatela) DiRaffaele. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Amelia (Albanese) DiRaffaele.

Gaetano was a jewelry worker for Marvel Jewelry Company for many years, before his retirement.

He was a WW-II Army Veteran.

Besides his wife he was the dear brother of Gloria Muro of Cranston, Rose DeResta of North Kingstown, Armando DiRaffaele of Johnston, John DiRaffaele of St. Augustine, FL and the late Elena Colardo.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m.
