FREDERICK J. MOAN

85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of forty-nine years to Evelyn C. (Costanzo) Moan. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Frederick and Mary (Mannigan) Moan. Mr. Moan was a US Army veteran serving during WW II.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Walter Brown of Glocester, April C. Phillips of East Greenwich, Rolinda A. LeBlanc of Cranston, and the late Frank Warren. He was the cherished grandfather of eleven, great-grandfather of seventeen and the great-great-grandfather of two. He was the brother of the late James F. Moan.

His funeral service will be held in NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
