Frank Zabatta 85, of Johnston and Delray Beach, FL passed away Monday April 21, 2008 at Roger Williams Medical Center Providence. He was the beloved husband of Gladys E. (D'Attorro) Zabatta. Born in Providence son of the late Giuseppe and Angelina (Castagna) Zabatta. Frank was a salesman for 25 years with Fiore Pontiac and The Fuller Brush Co. also for 25 years. He was a WW II Navy veteran, Aviation Machinist's Mate Second Class. He served at Quonset Point for 4 years on the NTS, Newport and the Flight Air Wing Nine Headquarters Squadron. Frank received the WW II Victory Medal and the American Area Ribbon. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Carol DiPaolo and her husband Vincent of Johnston, Robert Zabatta and his wife Maria of Johnston, his cherished grandchildren, Gregory, Jessica, Jennifer and Robert Michael. He was also the brother of Annette Marzilli of No. Providence and the late Joseph Zabatta. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 8:30 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church Atwood Ave. Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm.
