Frank A. "Big V" Verdolotti

Of Cranston, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025 at RI Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy marked by dedication, boundless love for family and a passion for hobbies that enriched the lives of those around him. He was the beloved husband of Paula (Spremulli) Verdolotti, loving father of Michael Verdolotti and his wife Melissa, and the cherished grandfather of Melania and McKenzie whom he adored. Frank embraced time with his family and truly loved life. He was the son of the late Americo and Kathleen (Zambarano) Verdolotti. 

Frank began his career at the age of 16 at Stop and Shop where he remained for 14 years, before devoting 25 years of his career as a mechanic for Cranston Public Schools. There he was respected not only for his strong work ethic but also for his commitment to ensuring that every vehicle he worked on was in safe and optimal condition. His colleagues will remember him as someone who took great pride in his work, always going the extra mile to serve his community.

He was an avid car enthusiast and loved sharing this hobby with his son. Frank had a particular fondness for Corvettes. His passion for automobiles was complemented by his love for family, landscaping, woodworking, and enjoying time with his many friends. He shared his wonderful sense of humor with all. 

Travel was a significant part of Frank's life, especially the adventures he shared with his beloved wife, Paula. They often made cherished memories traveling together and spending time at their home in Florida. His love, humor and the countless memories he created will live in our hearts forever.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Inurnment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
