FRANK SINDONE

94, of Providence, passed away after a holiday gathering with his entire family, on December 25, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Sadie (Madonia) Sindone for 54 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Philippo and the late Lucrezia (Santoro) Sindone. The greatest joys of his life were his love of the Boston Red Sox and Bruins, and watching his grandsons participate on the athletic fields. He is survived by his loving children, Marie A. (Sindone) Nickerson and her husband David of Providence, and Carol A. (Sindone) Chenevert of Warren. He was the adored grandfather of Paul A. Cirillo, Jr., of Bristol, Bryan M. Cirillo of East Providence, Michael J. Altrui of South Attleboro, MA, Nicole N. Cote of Johnston, and Adam A, Nickerson of North Providence. He was the proud great-grandfather of Justin Martins and Sofia B. Cirillo of Bristol, Nicholas D. Cote of Johnston, Olivia W, Cirillo of East Providence, and Gavin Altrui of South Attleboro. He was the last survivor of his 5 brothers and sisters. They were the late Pasquale, Joseph, Domenic, Grace (Allessandro), and Rose (Ianonne) Sindone.
