100, of Dunedin St. Cranston passed away peacefully, Saturday January 10, 2009 at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (Ruggiano) Ritz. He was born in Italy a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ritz Mr. Ritz was a foreman for the Narragansett Wire Company for 56 years. After his retirement from Narragansett Wire, Frank was employed at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Providence. He also was an avid bowler. He is survived by his loving children, Louise Petteruto of Providence, Elaine Cioe of North Providence, and Frank J. Ritz of Cranston. He was the grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 4 and was the brother of the late John and Charles Ritz, Jennie Laurito, Belinda Grande and was the grandfather of the late Kenneth Petteruto. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Bartholomew's Church Laurel Hill Ave. Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm. The family wishes to thank the Brentwood Nursing Home for their loving and compassionate care of Frank.
