FRANK J. PEZZA, SR

Frank J. Pezza, Sr. 61, of Cranston passed away unexpectedly, Saturday November 14, 2009 at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. He was the former husband of Monica Pezza of Cranston. Born in Providence, he was the son of Biagio and Viola (Mallane) Pezza of Cranston. Mr. Pezza was a Retired Supervisor for the Department of Defense at Quonset Point. Frank was also a Police Officer for the Johnston Police Department for 7 years and was a United States Navy Sea Bee Vietnam veteran. Besides his parents he is survived by his loving children, Frank Pezza, Jr. of CT and Rene Biello of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Paul Jr., Corey, Nina and Francesca, and was the brother of Anthony Pezza of Cranston and David Pezza of Coventry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Military honors will be held at the conclusion of Mass. His burial will be private. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
