of Cranston, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. He was born in Providence to Angelo Pertuso and Jennie (Martino) Pertuso. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Brady) Pertuso, beloved daughter, Pamela Garganta of Coventry, his son Robert Pertuso and his wife Karen of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI; five loving grandchildren, Lori, Staci, Jill, Mollie and Katherine and four great-grandchildren; sisters Jennie Mildner of Providence and Anne Stewart of Glendora, CA. We remember his deceased siblings, Angelina M. Ebert, Rose Carroll, Alfred Pertuso, Angelo "Murphy" Pertuso and James Pertuso. Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was assigned to the 756th Military Police Battalion. He later worked in the textile industry and retired from Globe Webbing Company. Frank was a regular volunteer at the Cranston Senior Center for twenty years. A devoted man to his family, Frank will be remembered for his assistance to others in need and his quick smile. Frank enjoyed gardening and cooking for his family. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Ann's Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-7 pm.
