FRANK MIELE

90, of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away in Florida on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Frank was born in Providence, a Federal Hill native, he was a son of the late Stefano and Michelina (Calucci) Miele; Frank was the beloved husband of the late Louise (DiChiara) Miele. Frank leaves two sons, Frank S. Miele of Providence and David Miele of Orlando. He was also the grandfather of Arianna Miele. He was the brother of Anthony in MI, Raymond of Prov., Carl in CA, Amelia " Millie " Gaudreau of Prov. and the late John, Sebastian, Joseph and Ernest Miele. Frank honorably served his country in the armed forces as an Artillery Commander from August 1942 to February 1946. Frank, for many years, worked as a Salesperson in the liquor industry with Schenley Distributors. He then founded Miele Real Estate Company in Providence which he operated until his retirement. Frank was an avid ballroom dancer and loving father. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9am in St. Ann's Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Inurnment with military honors will take place in R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
