89, of Laurel Hill Ave., Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Hopkins Manor in North Providence. He was the husband of Flora (Razzino) Matrullo for the past 55 years. A lifelong resident of Cranston, he was a son of the late Paul and Andrea (Lombardi) Matrullo. Mr. Matrullo was a building contractor and the owner and operator of "FM Construction Company" for more than 30 years before his retirement. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the Tabor-Franchi VFW Post of Cranston and the AARP of Johnston. Frank enjoyed traveling and going fishing with his son. He will always be remembered as having a helping hand for everyone. Besides his wife he is survived by his children David Matrullo and his wife Lynn of Saunderstown and Kim Corsi and her husband Michael of Cranston. He is also survived by five grandchildren. He was the brother of Fannie Adessi, Angela Grande, Josephine Martinelli, Joseph, Anna and Mary Matrullo all of Cranston, Matthew Matrullo of Newbury, CT and the late Salvatore Matrullo, Etta Baker and Susan Palumbo. His funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 11:00am. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 9:00-10:00am. Burial, with Military Honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
