a lifelong resident of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at the home of his daughter, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 4, 1923, Frank lived an incredible life marked by both hard work and devotion to his family.
A talented tool maker, Frank, alongside his brother, Fred, owned Gold Craft Manufacturing, where they made beautiful fourteen carat gold earrings. Frank's dedication to his work was only rivaled by his commitment to his family, especially his grandchildren and nieces and nephews, with whom he cherished every moment. His strong faith was a cornerstone of his life, as he was a devoted communicant of St. Mark's Church.
Frank’s passions extended beyond work; he found joy in creating beautiful oil paintings for family and friends. He also took pride in being the oldest member of his second home, the Cranston YMCA, where until recently he swam and socialized daily, crediting this routine with helping him reach 101 years of age. In addition to his many accomplishments, Frank is remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and the love he shared with those around him.
He is survived by his devoted daughter, Nicole Mancini, and his beloved grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, and Oliver Mancini. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Milania Mancini and the late Evelina Mancini, and loved his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Frank is predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia (Burke) Mancini, and his son, Barry Mancini.
He is also survived by his cherished memories of his parents, John and Rosa (Capotosto) Mancini, and his siblings: Joseph, Pasquale, Helen, Viola, Mary, Anthony and Fred Mancini, who fostered his love of fishing and gardening.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10am in St. Mark's Church, 15 Garden Court, Cranston. His burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA of Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 or to the Cranston YMCA, 1225 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910.
