76 of Cranston and Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Girardi) Lisi. He is also survived by his loving children, Cheryl Chadwick and her husband Barry, Rhonda Jacobson and her husband Scott, and Maria Penta and her husband James; cherished grandchildren, Delaney DuBois, Alec Hebert, Joshua Hebert, Ian Jacobson; step-grandchildren, Jamie (Penta) Maymon and her husband Thomas Maymon, Matthew Chadwick, and Ethan Chadwick; dear siblings, Suzanne Scungio, Debra Autieri and Cynde Lisi. He was predeceased by his parents Angelo and Florence (Pintarelli) Lisi.
Frank was born in Providence, RI on September 2, 1942. A Silver Lake boy, he spent his formative years in the neighborhood as a paperboy, working with the bread man, and in the Boy Scouts. He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Providence, RI.
At 16, he met his lifelong love Dolores and they have beenmarried for 56 years.
Frank was a hard working family man that lived for life’s simple pleasures. He worked at the Providence Gas Company/National Grid for over 30 years. He retired at 60 years old. After retirement, Frank and his wife bought a home in Fort Myers, FL where they made many wonderfulfriends. They split time between Florida and their home in Cranston.
Frank was an avid reader of history and westerns. Above all, he enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of the Fort Myers Country Club where you could always find him on the golf course. Along with golfing, he spent his time fishing, kayaking, gardening, and dancing the night away with his sweetheart.
He was eternally proud of his children and grandchildren who brought so much joy into his life. He cherished his time with them and shared his passions with them (even when they caught him with fishing hooks or broke their arms running on the dock)!
He will always be remembered as an all around good guy and for the example he set on work ethic, how to love, and the meaning of family.
