93, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 1, 2021 after saying his final goodbyes to his loving family and friends.
Frank was a lifelong resident of C Street, Cranston, born at home to Rosina and Michele Lepizzera. He was the loving husband of Marie G. Leveille for 65 years. He was the supportive and proud father of Lori J. Marrapese (Anthony), Frank A. Lepizzera (Patricia), Lisa L. Pagliaro (David), and the proud Papa of Paul and Andrew Marrapese, Jaime and Steven Lepizzera, Heather Giguere (Michael), Victoria Carroll (Jay), Ashley Haggerty (Michael), Ryan, Connor, and John Pagliaro. His great-grandchildren include Lucas and Grace Carroll, Riley and Mason Giguere, and McKenna Haggerty. Frank was also the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was the last remaining sibling of eight children; Elizabeth Pitocco, Jennie Bianco, Fannie, Tommy, Joseph, Fiore, and Carlo Lepizzera.
After proudly serving in the United States Army, Frank worked as a machinist for Leesona Corporation for 33 years, and finished his career working for the City of Cranston, retiring in 1990.
Frank was a very caring and generous man, who lived a simple and grateful life. He was always helping others and his greatest pleasures were spending time with family and friends, and working in his garden.
Frank was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and he was actively involved in the Holy Name and Italian Cultural societies.
He was an Honorary Member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society, and faithfully carried a banner honoring the Madonna della Civita in Knightsville’s annual St. Mary’s Day procession.
In addition, Frank volunteered in the collection and distribution of food donations for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.
Frank was a master organic gardener who took great pride in cultivating, planting, tending, and harvesting his plants, and ultimately, in sharing his produce.
He also enjoyed bowling, golfing, baking, playing cards, traveling, and socializing with family and his many friends.
Frank was truly one of a kind, and he will be greatly missed. He would always remind us to do the right thing because “Somebody is always watching.”
