Frank A. Ferranti Sr., 95, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Union Avenue, Providence, died on Monday, April 6, 2009 in Naples, FL. He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Carmela (Mastrangelo) Ferranti. They would have celebrated their 70th anniversary in September. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Antonetta (Votolato) Ferranti. Mr. Ferranti was the owner-operator of the former Modern Paper Box Company Inc. of Providence from 1957-1987. He was an Army veteran of WW-2 and a member of the United Commercial Travels of Johnston. Besides his wife, he was the cherished father of Elaine Perrotta and her husband Albert, Frank A. Ferranti Jr. and the late Camille Hoopis. Father-in -Law of Michael Hoopis. "Papa" of David, Michael, and John Perrotta, Frank III and Susan Ferranti, Jessica and Kristina Hoopis. "Great Papa" of Michael Jr., Daniella, Jenna, Juliana, John Jr. and Annissa. Brother of the late Nicholas Ferranti, Joseph Ferranti, John Ferranti, Thomas Ferranti, Anna Montecalvo, Margaret Carnevale, Mary Granieri and Louise Ricci. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Providence and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home 1278 Park Avenue Cranston on Monday 4:00-8:00pm.
