66, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Bradenton, FL. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Frank A. Ferranti, Sr. and Carmela (Mastrangelo) Ferranti. Frank graduated from LaSalle Academy, Providence College and received his Master's degree from Bridgewater State College. He was also a veteran serving in The RI Army National Guard. Frank spent his career as a special education teacher in the Town of Johnston retiring over 15 years ago from Nicholas A. Ferri Middle School. He is survived by his loving children, Frank A. Ferranti III and his wife Dawn and Susan Ferranti, his dear sister, Elaine Perrotta and her husband Albert, his cherished granddaughters, Daniella, Juliana, Annissa and his brother in-law Michael Hoopis. He was also the brother of the late Camille Hoopis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. His burial will be private.
