FRANK DIBIASE, SR

84, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He leaves behind his devoted wife Rose ( Pichierri) DiBiase. Born in Cranston he was the son of the late Pasquale and Maria ( Forte ) DiBiase. Frank DiBiase Sr. was a decorated Navy veteran of WW II who honored his country by serving on the USS Intrepid in the Pacific. Frank DiBiase Sr. practiced architecture in R.I. for more than fifty years. He was the father of Frank DiBiase Jr. and Mary Pellegrino both of No. Providence and the late David DiBiase. Also survived by his loving sister, Gemma Amato of Cranston. He was also the brother of the late Harry and Joseph DiBiase. He leaves behind five beloved grandchildren, Mr. Frank DiBiase III, Ms. Christine DiBiase, Dr. Erica Scioli, Mr. Jeffrey Checko and Mr. Michael Checko. Frank DiBiase Sr. will always be remembered for his wisdom and loving heart that touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Wednesday at 11:am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., No. Providence. Burial, with military honors, will take place in R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Prov., RI.
