FRANK R. COMO
Frank R. Como 67, of South Road, Wakefield, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at South Kingstown Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Rosalie (DiBiase) Como. He was born in Providence a son of the late Frank and Maria (Laudini) Como and he had resided in South County for since 1973. Mr. Como was the owner and operator of the former Sweet Meadows Inn, Narragansett and the former Mama Rosa's Restaurant, Wakefield. For many years he was an estate manager for many family and friends including the late Doris Duke. He is survived by his children, Maribeth Como of Exeter, Frank J. Como of Wakefield and Annmarie Johnson of Westerly. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10am in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of RI, 143 Main St., Wakefield, RI 02879.
