81, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was
the beloved husband of 60 years of June (Clegg) Amadio. Born in
Providence, he was the son of the late Bernadino and Mary (Zompa) Amadio and brother of the late Dan Amadio
Mr. Amadio was the owner and operator of Franks Auto body and Sales in
Providence.He enjoyed boating, racing cars, motorcycle riding, target shooting,
golf and his Patriots. He was a past member of the Pine Tree Gun Club and the Narragansett Sports Car Club.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, William and wife Audrey of Cranston, Elaine and husband Ernie Caldemone of Cranston,
Robert and wife Leslie of Cranston, Frank and wife Jean of Coventry, David and wife Liz of Cranston and Steven and wife
Almerinda of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather
of 6, Jason Mayoh and wife Sarah, William, Adriana, Steven, Chelsea and Benjamin and great grandfather of 2 Juniper and Jonny Mayoh.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral home
service on Wednesday at 11 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME
& Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
