FRANK ADDESSI

90, of Manor Rd., Cranston passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Rose C. (Manzi) Addessi. He was born in Providence a son of the late Modestino and Rosina ( Pennacchia) Addessi and he resided in Cranston most of his life. Mr. Addessi had been employed by the former BIF Industries, was a consultant employed by RI Group Health and Cranston Community Action Program and was a past president, board member and former chairman of the Eastman House in Cranston. He was a member of local 5299 and an army veteran of WW II. Beside his wife he is survived by his loving children, Carol Ann Inderlin and son Frank Addessi Jr. and his wife Marsha all of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Kimberly Rose Irwin and her husband David and Ashley Addessi and great grandfather of Alexis and Justin Irwin. He was the brother of the late Frances Gentile, Helen Martin, Mary Palazzo, Antonio, Louis, Albert, Salvatore and Carlo Addessi. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10am. VISITING HOURS; Monday 5-8pm. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
