Francisco F. Pedro

90, of Cumberland, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at West View Nursing Home, West Warwick. He was the loving husband of Regina (Pedro) Pedro for 67 years. Born in Casal Santa Ana, Cumeada, Sertã, Portugal, he was a son of the late António and Maria Amélia (Farinha) Pedro. Mr. Pedro was a machine operator for Marshall and Meyers Company for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Cranston Portuguese Club and União Portuguesa Beneficente.

Besides his wife, he is survived by Maria Amélia Aoyama and her husband Hisao of Cumberland, Maria da Conceição Fernandes and her husband Manuel of Cranston and the late Luisa Margarida Pedro. Francisco was the cherished grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas and Michael Aoyama, José Serrano, Jessica Repp, Paul Serrano and André Fernandes. He was the great-grandfather of José and Jerardo Serrano, Isabella, Veronica and Edward Repp, Gabriel, Jett, Sparrow and Marie Rose Aoyama, André Jr., Rylee and Easton Fernandes.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 26th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Church, 30 Warwick Avenue, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston.  Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday morning from 8:00-9:00 a.m.
