FRANCIS C. "FRANK" VARTULI

Francis C. "Frank" Vartuli Of Sandy Lane, Warwick, formerly of Somerset, MA, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Kent County Hospital, Hospice Unit, Warwick. He was the former husband of Lillian Thorp and the companion of the late Geri Lucciola. Born in Winooski, VT; he was a son of the late Francis and Irene (Hamlin) Vartuli. Mr. Vartuli was the Vice-President of the former Industrial Bank and the former Old Stone Banks Computer Service Departments. He was a Sr. Chief Petty Officer serving in the US Navy for 20 years during the Korean and Vietnam War era. He is survived by his children, Lisa Vartuli of Warwick, Lori Hallam and her husband James of Coventry and the daughters of his companion Denise and Kara. Mr. Vartuli was the nephew of Antonia Billups of Vermont. He was the brother of the late Jennie Roberge, Michael and Domenic Vartuli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday 7-9 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
