FRANCIS G. CAFFREY, JR

73, of Narragansett and Delray Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Boca Raton, FL. He was the beloved husband of fifty-two years to Carol (Ricci) Caffrey. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Francis G. and Bertha (Buckza) Caffrey, Sr. Mr. Caffrey was a sales representative for the former CNC Chemical Company of Providence for thirty years before his retirement. He was a friend of Bill W.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Keleigh Welch and her husband Patrick of Scituate, Jeffrey F. Caffrey and his wife Anne of Warwick, Frederick G. Caffrey and his wife Elizabeth of Coventry, Victoria Gallucci and her husband Robert of Warwick, and Matthew C. Caffrey and his wife Melissa of North Providence. He was the grandfather of twelve. Francis was the brother of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Medin.

Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt.1A) Narragansett on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
