Francine M. Mauricio

Francine M. Mauricio, 77, of Smithfield passed away on Monday February 24, 2025, with her family by her side. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (DeCotis) D’Andrea. 

 Fran was a long-time employee of the Providence School Department. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and planning her next shopping trip. In her earlier years she would spend her free time dancing, cooking and working on the family farm. 

 Francine was the mother of Regina Mauricio and her companion Paul Celani, and Michele Jacavone and her husband Albert. She was the grandmother of Alyssa, Miranda and fiancé Jake and Gianna Jacavone. She was the sister of Geraldine Arundel. 

 Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025, at 10:00 am St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.
