Francine L. Martino

Francine “Fran” L. Martino, 58 of Johnston passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2024, at home. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Dolores (Johnson) Delpha, III.  She was the beloved wife of Martin “Marty” Martino, they would have celebrated their 11th Anniversary on July 27^th. 

After high school Fran went on to Johnson and Wales University, where she received her bachelor’s in culinary arts. Her love and talent for cooking was instrumental in her desire to host parties with Marty, for family and friends. She was an employee of Fidelity Investments for over 25 years as the leader of the Complex Processing and Phones team. She was known also for her quick wit, and great sense of humor. Trips to the beach, or anywhere that she could soak up the sun were her favorite, particularly she arrived there via her convertible, with Marty by her side. The casino was also a favorite destination, it was a place that she had many fond memories of with her mother and aunt. Fran was loving, gracious and caring. She cared for both of her parents prior to their passing with Marty by her side. 

Besides her husband she is survived by her brother John Delpha IV and his wife Katy. Her sisters-in-law Teresa Martino, and Jennifer Hughes and her husband William, and brother-in-law Roland Martino and his wife Maureen. She also leaves behind nieces Grace and Shannon, nephews Nick and Will, her bestie Lynda and many, many beloved friends and co-workers. 

Family and friends are invited to VISTING HOURS on Thursday May 30, 2024, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Fran's name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
